Meet the team
Barnett Ravenscroft Wealth Management is a small, highly qualified and experienced team of wealth management specialists who are committed to finding out where you want to be and helping you get there.
Richard Wood
Richard completed a BA Honours degree in Business Studies and Economics at Birmingham University in 1991 and went on to train as a Certified Accountant; later undertaking further qualifications as a financial planner.
Richard set up Taylor Wood Financial Management in 1994 which merged with Barnett Ravenscroft in 2000. Richard's vision of providing a client-focused wealth preservation service to his high net worth clients resulted in the foundation in 2008 of Barnett Ravenscroft Wealth Management.
Outside work, Richard enjoys sailing and polo, and generally keeping fit.
Igors Alferovs
Igors started his financial services career in 1980 with an international employee benefits consultancy, initially focusing on corporate pensions, and later set up his own business offering bespoke financial planning.
Since joining BRWM in 2005, Igors has been instrumental in establishing the policies and procedures that have enabled the transformation of the company from a financial services provider to a specialist in wealth management.
Igors is a Certified Financial Planner, an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a member of the Pensions Management Institute Trustee Group. He also achieved the Investment Management Certificate.
Igors has a business interest in a hi-tech company, enabling him to bring to BRWM a very real sense of the concerns and day to day practicalities which drive business owners. His outside interests include sailing and enjoying family life.
Amanda Colcombe
Amanda worked for a leading international financial planning group for 16 years before joining BRWM. A fully qualified financial planner, Amanda is BRWM's office manager and specialises in client liaison, taking a hands-on role dealing with some of the UK's wealthiest individuals, helping with portfolio and investment queries on a day-to-day basis.
Amanda is an avid traveller, spending her weekends sightseeing, walking and generally appreciating the wildlife and countryside of Britain. She also runs to keep fit, undertaking a number of charity runs.
Kerry Stone
Kerry has been with BRWM for seven years as client relationship manager, liaising directly with clients regarding their portfolios and investments. She is on hand every day to deal with our clients' administration and paperwork, relieving them of the burden of overseeing a large financial portfolio. Kerry is constantly studying for and obtaining qualifications to keep her at the top of her profession.
Outside of work, Kerry enjoys family life and is a keen runner.
Louise Davies
Louise has been with BRWM since 2009 and has been training in the administration side of Wealth Management. She has excellent organisational skills which she puts to good use co-ordinating the diaries of the BRWM team. Louise is often the first port of call for clients who appreciate her efficient and courteous nature. She is studying for a degree in Wealth Management and through BRWM aims to achieve both the qualifications and experience to become an advisor.
Outside of work Louise enjoys horse riding, fine dining and is a keen swimmer.
